Designed on your face, cut in our workshop
Every bespoke frame starts with your face: the width, the bridge, where the frame should sit for your prescription. Gavin draws the shape with you, then cuts, shapes and polishes it by hand from Italian acetate. Every piece passes a 15-point inspection before it leaves.
The result is a frame that holds your lenses exactly where they were measured, which is why our varifocal patients so often end up in a frame we made.

What does bespoke eyewear mean here?
A frame designed for your face and made by hand in our Park Road workshop, not a stock frame adjusted. Shape, size, bridge, colour and fit are all yours.
What are the frames made from?
Italian Mazzucchelli 1849 acetate, the same material used by luxury eyewear houses, cut and polished by hand.
How long does a bespoke frame take?
Two to three weeks from your consultation to collection. Each frame is cut, shaped and polished by hand in our Park Road workshop.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes. Every handcrafted frame carries a three-year guarantee, longer than any major manufacturer.
Who is bespoke for?
Anyone a stock frame will not fit: very wide or narrow faces, low or high bridges, asymmetry, unusual prescriptions, or people who simply want a frame nobody else has. We have made frames for patients from age four to ninety.
